On Monday, December 10th, 12:30 PM, the recently renovated auditorium in
the LSMSA High School Building will be renamed the "David Conner Treen
Auditorium" in recognition of the key role played by former Governor Dave
Treen in the establishment of the Louisiana School.  The ceremony will also
include past directors and members of the board of directors, with Mr. Stan
Powell serving as master of ceremonies.  Former representative Jimmy Long
and senator Don Kelley will be recognized, along with several current
Louisiana legislators in attendance.  Governor Mike Foster has been invited
to speak at the event.  There will be a reception in the board room
immediately following the ceremony.  All alumni are invited to attend.
