October 14 , 2000 The planning meeting for October 22 has been postponed. A meeting will be scheduled sometime from mid January to late February to tie up any loose ends prior to May. In the meantime, people are encouraged to post any ideas for the reunion on the bulletin board. Also, the list of "lost gifties" has been updated - if you have any information, be it a phone number, an email address or a regular address, please send it to class91@lsmsaaa.org. One thing which has been discussed on the bulletin board has been inviting people from our class who did not graduate with us to the reunion, as well as the classes of '90 and '92. To make this simple, the website will be used as a medium for inviting these people. If you know of anyone from the aforementioned groups who might be interested in attending, please let them know. Also, ask them to please let Tiffany know by sending her an email at class91@lsmsaaa.org, so that a list can be compiled of who else may be attending.

September 29 , 2000 There have been some problems on the server side for the web-based bulletin board. Currently, the administrators of the server are working on it and should have the problem resolved within a few days. I apologize for the sporadic nature of the bulletin board and hope to have everything cleared up by next week, if not sooner. In addition, I'll look into other options that may allow me to post a bulletin board of some kind somewhere else should the problems with the current bulletin board prove to be irresolvable. Regardless, the link from this page will always point to the correct bulletin board. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

September 20 , 2000 A web-based bulletin board has been added. Although this bulletin board is primarily for those wishing to discuss plans for the reunions, it is open to any type of discussion. It is asked, however, that profanity be kept down to a bare minimum. It can be accessed by clicking on the bulletin board link at the top of this page.

August 23, 2000 Results of the first ten-year reunion meeting The votes are in! The majority of respondents selected Natchitoches as the site of our ten-year reunion. The date, also decided by a majority, will be the graduation weekend for the Class of '01 which is May 18-20, 2001. Possibilities for memorials to the three alumni who are no longer with us were discussed. These included a scholarship of some sort for a senior student, or purchasing and dedicating something that the school needs (such as the class of '90 did with auditorium chairs). Any additional suggestions would be appreciated and more information will be provided before the reunion. Participation would of course be optional. There will be a formal recognition of these people at some point during the reunion weekend. For those of you who have been away for a while, you will be pleasantly surprised to know that our dear old Natchitoches has grown quite a bit - at least, toward the interstate. There has been some concern voiced about there being enough hotel rooms on graduation weekend, and we don't think that will be a problem due to the better selection of hotels! Merisa will be checking into getting some blocks of rooms reserved for alumni, so when that information comes to you, be sure to respond promptly. The overall plans for the reunion weekend include an informal get-together Friday night, possibly a family picnic Saturday, a formal reception with food and music Saturday night (LSMSA faculty would be invited to this), and possibly a Sunday brunch get together of some sort. This would coincide with hotel check-out times, if possible. Child care was mentioned in reference to Saturday night, and we will be checking with the faculty to determine if some of their children/teenagers could help out in this area. It was decided that there will be a cash bar at the Saturday night event, as opposed to an open bar. It was mentioned that at this year's reunion, there were some teachers invited who taught us but are no longer at LSMSA. If there is anyone that YOU remember and would like to invite, please let us know. Jacob Brumfield was elected Treasurer for the reunion and thus will be the person responsible for collecting the registration money for the reunion. Jacob Brumfield will be the chairman of the Memorabilia Committee and Adele Babin will be the chairman of the Souvenir Committee. More information will be provided on this as the reunion draws closer. Tiffany Wagnon will be Chairman of the Communications Committee, which involves keeping all alumni information updated and available. Merisa Aranas is the Chairman of the reunion itself, and will be exploring possibilities in the next few months for the reunion activities mentioned above. There will be another meeting October 22nd at 2pm at Regina Ryan Anderson's home in Hammond. Directions will be posted at this website as time draws closer. Please mark it on your calendar and try to be there if you are able. If you have ideas for our reunion and/or want to participate, please let us know. There will be more committees formed at this meeting, and we need some volunteers!! Remember, you don't have to be a chairman of a committee to be involved in planning the reunion! Tiffany Wagnon

August 2, 2000 The list of lost gifties has been moved to the Lost Gifties List (appropriately enough). Please check there often for the most up-to-date list of people for whom Tiffany does not have any contact information. By helping out, we all stand a better chance of seeing each other for our reunion.
