Class of '91 Ten Year Reunion Rocked!!
May 18-20, 2001
Natchitoches, Louisiana
A message from Merisa.

Hi Everyone!

As the reunion chair and on behalf of the reunion committee (Tiffany, Brien, Jake, Stephani, and Adele), I want to thank you so much for coming to Natchitoches last weekend. Words can't describe how heartwarming it was to see all of you there - I mean that. I found myself having conversations with classmates I never had the chance to talk to in school - that in and of itself - made my reunion experience even more special! This reunion could not have been sucessful without you. We're checking on the numbers attended, but it looks like we're either the largest or 2nd largest class reunion LSMSA has ever had!

Below is an evaluation form that I've created to give us feedback on what worked and what didn't this past weekend. This will help us and other graduating classes in planning for future reunions. If you have the time, please fill out the form and e-mail it back to me. It won't take more than 4-5 minutes to fill out. If you want, you can e-mail the rest of the class with your thoughts. Good- bad, whatever - we need to know. I would greatly appreciate your help!

On another note, as your Senior Class President, I gladly took on the responsibility as Reunion Chair ten years ago and am more than happy to remain in that role. It was a great priviledge for me to be your class president ten years ago, I hope you know that. I truly enjoy throwing events such as these, especially when it involves getting us together. However, there may be others in our class that want to take on this responsibility. Since there's no formal rule on who should be the reunion chair - I think the members in our class should be able to nominate and vote who they would like as our Chair for future reunions. I will ask Tiffany Johnson Wagnon, our class correspondent, to contact you as it gets closer to our 15 year reunion so that we can solicit nominations for this position. Thus, it is very important that you keep in touch with the school and Tiffany and let us know where you are.

For me, the reunion went by too fast and I did not get to spend time with everyone that I wanted to (just call me the liquor lady/supplier!) Nonetheless, I enjoyed every minute of it - let me know what you thought of the weekend.

Very best regards to you, your family, and your future,
Merisa Aranas
Reunion Chair '91
Sr. Class President

P.S. You can mail the evaluation to me if you'd like! 5519 York Street New Orleans, LA 70125

The pictures of the class reunion I took are no longer available at walmart.com (there is a 30 day expiration period). If you'd like to order one of these pictures, let me know and I will upload them again. If you have pictures you'd like others to be able to access, please feel free to upload them to the WalMart.com site (or others if you prefer). If you send me the URL I will post it here for others to enjoy.

PS - As you may have noticed, I took down the link to the BBS (it was completely destroyed beyond recovery). I'll put a link back up when I can either find or write a stable BBS and put it on a half-way stable platform.
